We checked Google Play and inDrive’s official Pakistan and support material on August 8, 2026. The store showed more than 100 million downloads and a July 9, 2026 update. Version numbers, service areas and registration requirements can change.
APKWala is not inDrive and cannot approve a driver account, change a fare or recover a lost item. The purpose of this page is to point you to the real app and explain common Android problems.

How to download inDrive APK safely
Google Play is the recommended source because it checks device compatibility and handles later updates. Open the listing and verify:
- The app name contains inDrive.
- The publisher is SUOL INNOVATIONS LTD.
- The Play URL contains

Do not rely on the logo alone. A cloned app can copy colours, screenshots and the old inDriver name. The package and publisher provide better confirmation.
The old package wording is normal: inDrive was previously called inDriver, so sinet.startup.inDriver remains the official identifier. A package name does not always change when an app rebrands.
Does inDrive provide a direct APK download?
The verified consumer download route in the official material is Google Play. APKWala does not re-upload the package. This protects readers from a modified location app that could see trip details, phone information or identity documents submitted during driver registration.
Avoid files labelled Premium, Mod, unlimited rides, driver unlocked or no verification. The real app does not require an unofficial unlock to enter driver mode.
inDrive driver app: one app for passengers and drivers
The Play description says the app can be used to find a ride or join as a driver. The official driver instructions direct users to open the side menu and switch to driver mode inside the same app.
If you installed the official inDrive APK but cannot see driver mode, check these points:
- your city is selected correctly;
- the app is updated through Google Play;
- your mobile number has completed verification;
- location permission is enabled while using the app;
- driver onboarding is currently available for your city and vehicle type;
- a temporary account review or support issue is not blocking the menu.
Do not install a second app labelled driver APK to force the option to appear. Use in-app support or support@indrive.com if the mode is missing after an update.
How to register as an inDrive driver in Pakistan
Registration starts inside driver mode in the official inDrive APK. Menu labels can change, but the official process describes Switch to driver, followed by Online registration and Start registration.
Prepare clear, current information about yourself and the vehicle. The official driver guide describes these items:
- vehicle make, model, colour and registration plate;
- your name, date of birth and a clear personal photo;
- vehicle photo and registration document;
- valid driving licence;
- any extra document requested in the live Pakistan onboarding flow.
Submit only through the verified app. Do not send CNIC, licence or vehicle documents to a person claiming to be an agent in WhatsApp comments. Pakistan requirements can differ by city and vehicle category, so the live app is the final checklist.
After submission, wait for the in-app decision. An older inDrive guide mentioned a typical processing window, but approval time is not guaranteed. Blurry images, expired documents, mismatched names or an unreadable plate can delay review.
Driver photo and document upload tips
Use daylight or bright indoor lighting. Place each document on a flat surface, capture all four corners and check that text is readable before submitting. Do not use filters, screenshots of photocopies or an image forwarded many times through messaging apps.
The profile photo should show the registered driver clearly. The official safety guidance says one person should use one account, and passengers are encouraged to cancel when the arriving driver’s photo does not match the app.

How passengers use inDrive APK in Pakistan
Register with your mobile number, confirm the city and allow location access while using the app. To request a city ride:
- Set the pickup point carefully.
- Enter the destination.
- Review the suggested price, then enter the fare you want to offer.
- Add a short pickup note if the pin is inside a market, street or building complex.
- Wait for driver offers.
- Compare the driver’s rating, vehicle, estimated arrival and proposed fare.
- Select one offer and confirm that the arriving car and driver match the profile.
The official passenger guide explains that passengers choose from responding drivers. An unrealistically low offer may receive no acceptance. Confirm the final fare in the app before the ride starts.
For cash trips, ask about change before departure if you do not have the exact amount. Do not move a payment or negotiation to an unknown link sent in chat.
inDrive APK login or verification code problem
The normal signup flow verifies the mobile number with a code. If the code does not arrive:
- Confirm the country code and Pakistani mobile number.
- Check that the SIM has signal and can receive normal messages.
- Make the registered SIM active on a dual-SIM phone.
- Turn off Airplane mode and restart the phone.
- Set date and time to automatic.
- Check SMS spam or blocked-message folders.
- Request one new code and use the newest message.

inDrive APK location not working or pickup pin is wrong
inDrive needs accurate location for nearby rides and pickup points. Open Settings > Apps > inDrive > Permissions > Location and allow location while using the app. Turn on precise location if Android offers that choice.
Then check the phone itself:
- enable Wi-Fi scanning and Bluetooth scanning if your Android location settings use them;
- move away from thick walls or covered parking for a better GPS fix;
- turn off a mock-location app or VPN for one test;
- disable Battery Saver while requesting a ride;
- drag the pickup pin to the correct entrance instead of trusting GPS blindly;
- add a landmark in the pickup note without posting private information.
GPS can place you on the wrong side of a divided road or inside a large plaza. Confirm the pin with the street and map before sending the request. Drivers should also check pickup and destination details before accepting.

inDrive APK not opening, crashing or stuck
Try the non-destructive fixes first:
- Force stop inDrive and reopen it.
- Restart the phone.
- Update the app from Google Play.
- Update Android System WebView, Chrome and Google Play services where applicable.
- Check free storage.
- Disable a VPN, Private DNS or screen overlay for one test.
- Clear the app’s cache, not its storage.
Clearing storage signs you out and may require number verification again. Save any support reference you need before doing it. If the service itself is temporarily unavailable, installing another APK will not restore the server.

inDrive APK update not installing

For emergencies, contact the appropriate local emergency service. In-app support is useful for account, trip and lost-item records, but it is not a replacement for urgent police or medical help.

Review the pickup point, destination and passenger profile before accepting. Keep one account for one driver. Do not lend the profile to a relative or use another person’s approved account.
The official driver safety advice tells drivers to check that the passenger matches the profile, use seat belts, avoid driving while tired and share ride details through the safety feature. It also directs lost-item cases to in-app support or support@indrive.com.
Drivers should keep their licence and vehicle documents current. Never pay a stranger who promises faster approval or a permanent high rating. Registration and trip records belong inside the official app.
