We checked the live Dastak website, service catalogue, Punjab Portal, citizen login page and both official Google Play listings on August 1, 2026. The citizen listing named Punjab Information Technology Board as developer and used package pk.pitb.gov.dastakHomeDelivery. It showed more than 1 million downloads and a March 12, 2026 update date.
We did not submit an application, upload private documents, book a facilitator or make a payment. Required documents, charges, turnaround time and local availability change by service. Check the figures shown for your own application before confirming it.
How to download Dastak Citizen APK safely

The facilitator app is not a faster citizen app. It is for people who want to register as third-party service providers, complete screening and earn commission on assigned work. Its official listing is Dastak Facilitator on Google Play.
If an app asks for facilitator onboarding, work documents or payout details when you only want a birth certificate, check the package. You probably installed the representative app.
What is Maryam Ki Dastak?
Maryam Ki Dastak is Punjab’s platform for accessing supported government services online or through doorstep delivery. A citizen can choose a service, provide the required details and select the route offered for that service.
With doorstep delivery, a trained facilitator visits the citizen, helps complete the process and returns the final documents when the workflow allows it. The Punjab Portal describes facilitators as government-approved representatives. You should still verify the booking and representative details shown in your account before handing over original documents or money.
The service is not the Pakistan Citizen Portal complaint app, a private courier named Dastak, or the facilitator employment app. Check the punjab.gov.pk or dastak.punjab.gov.pk domain when following web links.
Which services are available in Dastak Citizen APK?
The current official catalogue includes services from several departments. Examples include:
- Learner, regular and international driving licence services
- Birth, death, marriage and divorce certificates
- Traffic challan, tenant registration and police verification services

Doorstep service
A facilitator handles the pickup and delivery stages offered for that service. The official website says doorstep delivery is currently booked through the citizen app. Extra service or platform charges may appear in addition to the government fee.
Read the total before confirming. A screen can separate the government fee, service charge, platform charge and other variable costs. Take a screenshot of the breakdown and keep the payment receipt.
How to register in Dastak Citizen APK
- Open the official citizen app.
- Select the registration or create-account option.
- Enter your CNIC and contact information exactly as requested.
- Use a mobile number and email address you can access.
- Complete the OTP or verification step.
- Create your profile and review the saved details.
- Link an existing Punjab government-services account if the option appears and applies to you.
The current web login page says users with an account on another government-services platform may link it to access previous applications. Do not create several accounts for the same CNIC while troubleshooting. That can make it harder to find an older record.
Use your own phone number and email. A facilitator, shopkeeper or agent should not control the account that stores your applications and documents.

The exact screens depend on the department, but the normal flow is:

Try these checks in order:

- Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data.
- Turn off a VPN, proxy or private DNS while testing.
- Set the phone’s date and time to automatic.
- Force stop the app and reopen it.

- Check the phone number and email spelling.
- Confirm that the registered SIM can receive ordinary SMS messages.
- Check Spam, Junk and Promotions if verification uses email.
- Request one new code, then wait.
- Use the newest OTP if several messages arrive.
- Turn airplane mode on and off.
- Do not keep tapping resend every few seconds.
Multiple requests can invalidate older codes. Never send an OTP to a facilitator, WhatsApp contact, comment section or person claiming they can approve the account.

Registration keeps loading after CNIC entry
First confirm that the CNIC format matches the field. Some government forms request dashes; others request 13 digits without dashes. Follow the example beside the actual field.

- Remove accidental spaces from CNIC, phone and email fields.
- Check every mandatory field and consent box.
- Compress oversized document images without making text unreadable.
- Rename uploaded files with simple letters and numbers.
- Try a current Chrome browser through the official website.
- Avoid submitting the same form repeatedly while it is processing.
If the system says the CNIC already exists, use account recovery or linking instead of registering another profile. Official support can help locate an existing account.
Application missing, pending or stuck in progress
Keep the application number and payment proof. Sign in with the same CNIC or linked account used for submission, then check application history and tracking.
For a missing record:
- Confirm that you are in the correct account.
- Check whether an older government account needs linking.
- Search with the application or tracking number if offered.
- Save screenshots of any successful submission message.
- Contact support if the department has passed its displayed turnaround time.
Do not submit and pay for a duplicate application merely because the first one is slow. Ask support to confirm its status first.
Payment deducted but request not confirmed
If money has left your account, do not pay again immediately.
Save the transaction ID, amount, time, payment channel, application number and screenshot. Check whether the bank, wallet or PSID shows successful, pending or reversed. Then compare it with the Dastak account status.

Dastak Citizen APK not installing or updating
- Free enough storage for the download and installation.
- Restart Android.
- Update Google Play Store and Google Play services.
- Remove a stuck partial download.

Should you install an old Dastak Citizen version?
